The Calgary Association of Parents and School Councils (CAPSC) is requesting permission to continue to contact you after July 1, 2014 in compliance with Federal anti-spam legislation.
We have organized events that we hope have been helpful to school parents and school councils in the past (meeting with the Premier, helping boys learn with Dr. Dixon, Calgary School Volunteers Awards and Recognition, School Traffic Safety Week, etc.) and we will continue to do so.
We would like to continue to contact you periodically in order to let you know of upcoming events (like the 2014 City-wide School Traffic Safety Week, Meeting with Alberta Education, School Council/Association Intensive Training Session, School Council's Trade show fair, etc.). We would also like to send you periodic agendas/minutes, updates on city school parent related issues and work or opportunities. If you have been receiving emails from us, they will continue to be the same sorts of things and frequency.
We are happy to note that CAPSC's work has helped to adjust the playground zones in the city of Calgary which will come into effect in September and that we have also been instrumental in bringing the city to a greater awareness of the needs of the schools and school children. We will continue to do so. We would appreciate your support in this by being able to continue to communicate with you and other parents/councils/interested individuals.
We hope that you have appreciated the things that we are trying to do. We are elected volunteers and the emails could come from either the email address of a board member, or from the CAPSC email accounts just depending on who is sending it.
If you would like to be removed from the email list, please use the link below. We will try to send as few communications as is possible while still conveying the necessary information to you.
We all have full inboxes, but , in my opinion, it sure beats a phone ringing off the hook.
