At CAPSC’s AGM in late February, a new executive was elected and a summary presented on where we want to take CAPSC over the next year. CAPSC will renew its focus on advocacy, including a focus on accommodation (building new schools), curriculum (including parent voice prior to any significant change), funding (classroom funding cannot be cut without hurting our children) and an overall attempt to strengthen the parent voice in education. Parents are the most important voice in education as we speak for our children. We are so pleased that so many Calgarians have chosen to be members of CAPSC and look forward to your ongoing support.
