I am very concerned about the new bussing proposition. I am not comfortable sending my 11 year old grade 7 son on a city bus that may require changing busses. I am also not happy about an 11 year old having to walk 3km in cold winter weather to a bus stop.

Dear Minister Eggen:

I understand there is a need to find a solution for the bussing challenges. But railroading changes through at a time of year when those affected are least likely to weigh in is and then scheduling a forum AFTER the changes would have taken affect is unethical and high handed putting it nicely.
Considering that educated people have put this together, the absolute disregard of change management and public inclusion is shameful.
Solutions are required, but considering the impact weighs heavier on the families, the current strategy is inadequate.

It seems there is a problem with the system, the email didnt go through.

Please assist us and CAPSC with this issue. It’s extremely important for our chilldren and it appears that CBE didn’t and don’t communicate any plansto get input and feedback from the actual stakeholders. Thanks.
